The Excel sits atop the world of titanium frames, absolutely unmatched for its technical mastery and unrivalled finish. This is the only production frame to be made entirely from 6/4 titanium alloy, a Ti blend that incorporates 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium to provide a lighter and stiffer frame than anything else in the Enigma range, yet its tube profiles are the narrowest. It's a striking frame that, unlike any other frame to use 6/4 Ti, features no tube seams and no unsightly tube-length welds. This makes for a snappy, engaging ride that still captures all of the smoothness and ride character of any other Enigma frame, backed up by a performance geometry that still affords a range of fitting flexibility. It's simply unlike anything else on the road.
- Totally unique 6/4 seamless tubing throughout
- Lightweight, super-stiff 6/4 Ti alloy used for the head tube and bottom bracket shell
- Available either mechanical or electronic gearing ready
- Uses conventional threaded bottom bracket - no more carbon creaking!
- Narrow, straight tube profiles allow classic good looks with a modern twist
All Enigma bikes arrive at Wooly's as frames alone, and from there the bikes they become are entirely up to our riders. Whether it's time to update an old frame and bring across existing components, or to use an Enigma frame as the heart of a new dream bike, there's no limits to what can be achieved. For all enquiries on how your new Enigma project can be completed, please call Wooly's manager Nat on 0429 468 754, or drop him an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We're just as excited as you are, and happy to go about it any way you like!
