The Evade represents a blend of several Enigma frames, a design intended to suit the rider who values the quintessential feel of Ti on the road but needs a bike that rewards effort with speed as much as possible. Similar to the Excel, the Evade has a performance-orientated geometry that is lower in the front end, intended to engage a rider's upper body and core muscles. Like the Evoke, its oversized downtube provides significant lateral stiffness for out-of-the-saddle efforts, climbing and high speed descending. Its mix of 3/2.5 main tubes and 6/4 head tube and bottom bracket shell carry over from the Echo. It's a real head turner too, with clean lines and lower profile seat and chainstays to reduce weight and improve the ride on rough roads, creating a bike that can go fast in comfort for as long as you like.
- Performance geometry makes for a quick, responsive ride feel
- 3/2.5 titanium alloy for all major tubes, with an oversized downtube to boost lateral stiffness
- Lightweight, super-stiff 6/4 Ti alloy used for the head tube and bottom bracket shell
- Available either mechanical or electronic gearing ready
- Low profile seat and chainstays for a smoother ride and super clean lines
- Uses conventional threaded bottom bracket - no more carbon creaking!
All Enigma bikes arrive at Wooly's as frames alone, and from there the bikes they become are entirely up to our riders. Whether it's time to update an old frame and bring across existing components, or to use an Enigma frame as the heart of a new dream bike, there's no limits to what can be achieved. For all enquiries on how your new Enigma project can be completed, please call Wooly's manager Nat on 0429 468 754, or drop him an email at email@example.com. We're just as excited as you are, and happy to go about it any way you like!
