This Enigma is from the old school, a simpler time when bikes where all about straight lines, traditional shapes and geometry, mechanical gearing and woollen jerseys. The Esprit is just about as smooth of a ride as you'll find, and thanks to its minimalist tube profiles and parallel top tube, it's one of the prettiest too. We're not going to lie though, the fit is longer and lower than modern bikes, and you can expect some more toe overlap with the front wheel than is often the case today, but if you're a traditionalist, this might be the bike for you.
- It's just damn pretty!
- 3/2.5 titanium alloy for all major tubes, with straight profiles and clean lines
- Lightweight, super-stiff 6/4 Ti alloy used for the head tube and bottom bracket shell
- Available for mechanical gearing only
- Traditional geometry is longer and lower in the front end than modern standards
- Uses conventional threaded bottom bracket - no more carbon creaking!
All Enigma bikes arrive at Wooly's as frames alone, and from there the bikes they become are entirely up to our riders. Whether it's time to update an old frame and bring across existing components, or to use an Enigma frame as the heart of a new dream bike, there's no limits to what can be achieved. For all enquiries on how your new Enigma project can be completed, please call Wooly's manager Nat on 0429 468 754, or drop him an email at email@example.com. We're just as excited as you are, and happy to go about it any way you like!
